Biosafety Administrators Best Practice Meeting

Registration is closed for this event
The Biosafety Administrators Association (BSAA) was recently founded to continue the facilitation of Biosafety Administrators Best Practice meetings. The meetings were established in 2012 to facilitate continued and broadened teaching, training and sharing of ideas among those working "in the trenches" of institutional biosafety compliance programs. The format of our meeting is peer sharing rather than conference presentations. Through open discussion, meeting attendees provide insight, guidance, and/or suggestions for enhancing an institution’s biosafety compliance program. On November 28-29, 2018, a Biosafety Administrators BP Meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA on the University of Pennsylvania Campus. Meeting attendance is limited to approximately 50 Biosafety compliance professionals, so please follow the link below to register and secure your spot. Each registered attendee will be independently contacted (emailed) and asked to suggest ideas for agenda topics. Topic suggestions will be maintained below with a final agenda being established the first week of October 2018.

Best Practice (BP) meetings provide individuals the opportunity to identify, share and discuss best practices that are used to satisfying compliance responsibilities associated with an organization biosafety programs. During BP meetings, individuals representing programs from across the country present materials and facilitate discussions on best practices used by their organizations to satisfy the regulatory requirements.
